Why Can’t I Lose Weight?
Surely a lot of people have had this trouble, “I have been working very hard, why am I not losing weight?” In fact, there are a lot of reasons leading to this result. Let us work together to identify the causes and improve accordingly.
The 5 reasons of not losing weight might be as follows:
1. Having Irregular Meals
Having meals irregularly tends to produce a strong sense of hunger which leads to excessive intake of food that does not help slimming down at all. Having regular meals and controlling calorie intake is the way to avoid overeating which affects your health and diet plan.
2. Not Concentrate on Eating
Eating while watching TV Programs or reading newspapers and magazines easily leads to over-eating. People tend to inadvertently overeat as the satiety center of your brain will become dull when you are not concentrating on having meals. It is recommended to put aside work, eat slowly and enjoy your food.
3. Wrong Way of Cooking
Generally, the way of cooking that produces calories in ascending order would be boil, steam, grill, stir-fry, pan-fry and deep fry. Do not let improper ways of cooking stop you from losing weight.
4. Lack of Exercise
In order to achieve the desired effect of burning fat, it is necessary to comply with the “333 work out law”. Exercise at least 3 times a week, at least 30 minutes each time and the heart rate to reach at least 130 beats per minute every time after exercise. In addition, it is recommended to create opportunity for more exercise, like taking the stairs instead of using elevator, walking instead of driving and so on.
5. Poor Lifestyle Habits
Staying up late too often, getting exhausted at work, irregular sleeping hours and other bad lifestyle habits actually affect the efficiency of losing weight. Staying up late and fatigue would cause decreased metabolism that calories are not easily burned. Ultimately the fat would stay and accumulate in the body.
